Saving a video from your favorite social app shouldn’t take ten taps and a third-party browser. All Media Downloader pulls media straight from the Share Sheet and drops it back on your device in seconds. Heads up before you tap install: the shortcut is no longer free, so you’ll need to buy a key first.

What it does

All Media Downloader hands you a single Share Sheet action for grabbing media off social media. Open the app, find the post, share it to the shortcut, and the file comes back to your iPhone. Version 9.0.0 brings bug fixes and adds support for 10 more platforms, though the author keeps the full list on the website rather than in the shortcut itself. The flow is the same whether the post is a clip, a photo, or a longer video.

Setup

  1. Visit allmediadownloader.com in Safari.
  2. Create a key on the site (this is the paid step).
  3. Copy the key to your clipboard.
  4. Run the shortcut once and paste the key when prompted.

Adding it to your iPhone

  1. Tap Add Shortcut on this page, using the device where you want the shortcut.
  2. If prompted, enable Allow Untrusted Shortcuts in Settings, then return here.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the preview and tap Add Shortcut to confirm.
  4. Open Shortcuts and run it once so the key prompt appears.

Running the shortcut

Open the social media app and find the post you want. Tap the Share button, scroll the row of actions, and choose More if you don’t see the shortcut right away. Pick All Media Downloader from the list, and the download starts. The first run will ask for your key. After that, sharing a post is the whole interaction. No extra prompts, no browser detours.

Where downloads go

Saved media lands in your Photos library or the Files app, depending on the media type. Videos and images typically route to Photos, while other file types are handed to Files for sorting.

FAQ

Wait, didn’t this used to be free?

It did, but the current release is gated behind a paid key you generate over at allmediadownloader.com. You only pay once and the same key carries across reinstalls.

So which apps can it actually save from?

v9.0.0 added ten more services on top of the existing roster, and the author keeps the canonical list on the website rather than baking it into the shortcut. Easiest move is to check allmediadownloader.com before paying if a specific app is your dealbreaker.

Will it run on my older iPhone?

iOS 16 is the floor — the shortcut leans on the Share Sheet behavior Apple shipped that year, so anything earlier won’t reliably forward the post URL.
